HJH students in the Principles of Business, Marketing, and Finance class visited Four Stars Auto Ranch in Henrietta today. Thank you so much to Chris McDonald at Four Stars for teaching us about this business model. We appreciate his time and expertise. The students learned a lot and it was a great way for them to see business, marketing and finance in the real world.
The Bridgeport track meet scheduled for today, March 4, has been canceled.

HJH invites you to come out and join us tonight (March 4, 2025) at the HHS Old Gym from 6:00 - 7:00 PM for STAAR support for your student. Teachers will have information tables set up to assist in STAAR prep for upcoming tests. We hope to see you there.

Calling all 8th grade parents! PTECH Parent Meeting on Tuesday, March 4th at 6:30 PM in the HISD Admin Building. Come hear about a new program that will cover the cost of your child's dual credit classes and could allow them to graduate with an associate's degree.

Congrats to our JH Boys for a great competition last night in Bowie! So proud of all our runners for showing GRIT and competitiveness!

Stefanie Forester, branch manager at Legend Bank, did a presentation on banking for the 7th grade Money Matters class on February 20th and 21st.

Parents - Just a quick reminder that we will have a delayed start to school today, February 19th. All classes in Henrietta ISD will start at 10 AM due to extreme cold temperatures and conditions. Doors will open at 9:30 AM. Please make sure to review the graphic on dressing your child for the extreme cold today.

Feb 18 Update
URGENT NOTICE: SCHOOL CLOSURE
Due to hazardous weather conditions and concern for the safety of our students, staff, and families, all Henrietta Independent School District campuses will close early today at 2:30 PM.
This closure includes:
- All classes and academic activities
- All before and after-school programs
- All athletic practices and events
- All other extracurricular activities
In addition, we will have a delayed start of 10 AM on February 19th. Buses will run 2 hours late.
