Parents - Just a quick reminder that we will have a delayed start to school today, February 19th. All classes in Henrietta ISD will start at 10 AM due to extreme cold temperatures and conditions. Doors will open at 9:30 AM. Please make sure to review the graphic on dressing your child for the extreme cold today.

Feb 18 Update
URGENT NOTICE: SCHOOL CLOSURE
Due to hazardous weather conditions and concern for the safety of our students, staff, and families, all Henrietta Independent School District campuses will close early today at 2:30 PM.
This closure includes:
- All classes and academic activities
- All before and after-school programs
- All athletic practices and events
- All other extracurricular activities
In addition, we will have a delayed start of 10 AM on February 19th. Buses will run 2 hours late.

The JH Track Meet in Alvord has been canceled due to the risk of prolonged exposure to sub-freezing temperatures.

8th grade parents - Come to a quick parent meeting on February 13th at 6 PM to learn more about an exciting opportunity for your child to earn their associate's degree while in high school. This new program is through the state, and it will pay for the dual credit courses!! You do not want to miss hearing about this new program! See you at the HJH cafe on the 13th!

Winter Sports Senior Night Moved to Tuesday, January 14th.

All Junior High Basketball games are cancelled for tonight.

January 9th - Weather Update
Due to ongoing hazardous weather conditions and concern for the safety of our students, staff, and families, all Henrietta Independent School District campuses will be CLOSED on FRIDAY, January 10, 2025. Based on the best information available to us, the roads would not be safe to travel on until close to lunch time, so the decision was made to cancel school.
Sub-varsity basketball has been cancelled, but we do plan to start the girls varsity basketball game at 4:30 p.m., followed immediately by the boys varsity basketball game in Henrietta.
We hope you are all safe and warm, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, January 13th!
